Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have announced their 2026 Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching fellows. The Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program's objective is to use NFL club's preparations in advance of the regular season to give opportunities to observe, participate and gain experience, with the ultimate goal of earning a full-time NFL coaching position.

The four coaches joining the Bears' staff include Chance Casey, Salvador Delgado, Jordan Holland and Cameron Winston.

A former NFL defensive back (2013-15), Casey joins the Bears with three years of NFL playing experience and five years of coaching experience. As a player, Casey spent time with the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars. In his first coaching experience, Casey coached the cornerbacks during the 2021 season at Pflugerville Connally High School (Austin, Texas), helping lead the secondary to a district-leading 10 interceptions. Casey then went on to coach the cornerbacks at Rockwall-Heath High School (Heath, Texas) for three seasons (2022-24). Casey currently serves as the running backs coach at Prosper High School, where he contributed to an offensive unit that ranked top three in DFW in passing yards, total yards and scoring (2025). A Texas native, Casey attended Baylor University, where he lettered in both track and football.

Delgado comes to Chicago with five years of coaching experience at the high school, collegiate and professional level. After spending four seasons as a recruiting intern at San Jose State University, Delgado began his on-field coaching career in 2021. Delgado first served as a quality control coach, working with the offensive line at San Jose State University, before spending the 2022 season as a graduate assistant for the Spartans, helping coach the wide receivers. In 2023, Delgado served as wide receivers coach at Valley Christian High School in Santa Clara, Calif., where he installed the pass and run game each week for three seasons (2024-25). Delgado also has earned two internship opportunities with the San Francisco 49ers (2024) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2025). Delgado currently works as a research assistant at The 33rd Team, where he evaluates NFL film for projects, identifies trends in NFL schemes and writes scouting reports.

Holland joins the Bears from Stanford University, where he served as a defensive quality control coach for the 2025 season. Prior to his time with the Cardinal, Holland held two Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship positions, working with the San Francisco 49ers (2024) and the Houston Texans (2025). In 2025, Holland spent the summer with the San Francisco 49ers as a Nunn-Wooten Scouting fellow. As a player, Holland played one season in the AFL with the Cleveland Gladiators (2017) and one season with the Edmonton Elks (2018) of the CFL, before spending the offseason with the San Francisco 49ers in 2019. A native of Missouri City, Texas, Holland played cornerback at Prairie View A&M.

Winston arrives in Chicago from Jacksonville, Fla., where he currently works as a player engagement specialist and character development coach at the Mental Endurance Academy (Jacksonville, Fla.). Before joining Mental Endurance Academy, Winston worked as a running backs analyst at Oklahoma State University. Prior to his position with Oklahoma State, Winston spent three seasons as a senior quality control coach in Loughborough, England, where he coached at the NFL Academy, focusing on educating and developing defensive backs. Before spending time at the NFL Academy, Winston spent five seasons at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., as a leadership coach. A native of Kansas City, Mo., Winston played defensive back at the University of Nevada, Reno.
